What is a Prep artist in visual effects ?
आज हम जानेगे एक prep artist का VFX industry में क्या काम होता है, prep artist का मतलब preparation artist होता है, आसन शब्दों में कहू तो VFX pipeline में सबसे पहले काम prep artist के पास आता है, और उसपे prep artist उसका काम complete करके आगे vfx pipeline में forward कर देता है.
Visual Effects में Prep artist का काम क्या है?
अब जानते है prep artist काम क्या करता है- prep artist raw video footage को prepare करके आगे vfx pipeline में भेज देता है, मतलब detail में समजे तो, prep artist का सबसे पहला काम होता है अगर video footage stabilize नहीं है, तो उसे stabilize करना,
इसके बाद उसका काम होता है unwanted objects को remove करना, unwanted objects मतलब वो objects जो unnecessary है या गलती से video footage में आ गए है, जैसे अगर कोई crew member footage में आ गया है या कोई camera या lights scene में दीख रही है या अगर कोई stunt का scene है तो wire removing का काम भी prep artist का ही होता है.
इसके अलावा prep artist marker removing का भी काम करता है, जब भी कोई artist green screen पर काम करता है तो उसपे marker लगाए जाते है और इन markers को remove करने का काम भी prep artist का ही होता है.
Prep artist- clean plate department में काम करता है, इसी लिए prep artist के पास 2D और 3D Tracking का भी knowledge होना चाहिए क्युकी clean plate के काम उसे tracking के जरिए ही करने है, इसके अलावा prep artist के पास color correction का भी knowledge होना चाहिए.
अब जानते है prep artist बन्ने के लिए आपको कोनसे softwares का knowledge होना जरुरी है- at present तो 90% studios Nuke और photoshop use करते है, लेकिन अगर आप के पास After effects और fusion का knowledge है तो वो plus point साबीत होगा.
